In validation Orion Print projects
Packaging and sleeves
The packaging starts telling the story before the product appears.
It needs to protect, guide and make the product’s value feel coherent — without creating a cost the operation cannot sustain. We are validating materials, formats and a market niche where customization and proximity are a real advantage.
Stage: Capability in validation
Market honesty
Demand for the category exists, but that doesn’t mean there is room for a new offer. There are established print shops and artisans. Before opening sales, we need to prove a differential and a repeatable operation.
OBOS in practice
How we are developing with criteria
This line also stepped back from pre-sale to a validation case, by a decision recorded in August 2026. A box and a sleeve look simple on a page, but every package starts from the requirements of the product inside it: weight, dimensions, transport, assembly.
A nice-looking piece on the bench doesn’t prove a batch. That is why the method requires a prototype assembled with the real product and handling and transport tests before any commercial communication — and doesn’t hide when a step depends on a supplier not yet confirmed.
What we still need to prove
- Choose a pilot use case, with documented requirements.
- Prototype the structure and assemble it with the real product.
- Confirm materials, suppliers and the production route.
- Measure repeatability and batch capacity before opening an offer.
This is how we work inside Órion itself: decisions with an owner and a date, named validations, and sales only after the criteria. OBOS is the system that organizes it from the inside.
