Balaio de Gato is paused. We would rather say that clearly than let a brand look active while the work is stopped. The history and the learnings remain on record; resuming only happens with purpose, capacity and a formal decision.

The pause was recorded as a decision in July 2026, with a clear rule: the brand only returns — or closes — by formal decision, never on impulse. That record avoided the usual fate of good ideas without an owner: becoming a zombie project, consuming attention while producing nothing.
Presence on this page is record, not active development. The history remains useful for a future decision to resume or close, and nothing here suggests a sale or an already-approved comeback.
What we still need to prove
- A recorded decision to resume or close, with a rationale, a date and consequences.
- If it resumes: problem, audience and capacity confirmed before any promise.
